The Navstar Management Team consists of dedicated professionals with extensive years of experience in the public and private sectors.

Joanna Alexis – President and CEO

As Founder and CEO of Navstar, Joanna Alexis leads the efforts to define and shape the organization’s mission, vision and values.  Joanna founded Navstar after extensive experience successfully delivering solutions in the commercial information technology sector.

Joanna led the organization’s entry into the capture of Navstar’s first prime and multiple sub-contracts within the Intelligence Community, teaming with partners such as Lockheed Martin, SRA, General Dynamics and Deloitte, among others.

Through Joanna’s visionary leadership and strategic management style, she has assembled an executive team focused on attracting and retaining top talent; continuing to make Navstar a successful, growing enterprise poised to expand and thrive.

Lorri Zell – Chief Financial Officer

Lorri Zell joined the Navstar team in the fall of 2017. Lorri creates, directs and implements strategies and day-to-day operations of Finance, Accounting, Facilities and Contracts.

Lorri has over 20 years of experience in accounting, information technology and finance directing the ongoing improvement of financial processes and practices. Her expertise includes effective planning, budgeting, forecasting and the creation, analysis and dissemination of financial and operational metrics and information to support organizational success.

Prior to joining Navstar, Lorri served as the Chief Financial Officer at Pherson Associates in Reston, VA where she effectively implemented new technologies to enable Pherson Associates to operate virtually and internationally. Lorri also successfully created a new strategic direction and financial plan for Globalytica, a subsidiary of Pherson Associates.

Lorri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accounting and a concentration in Computer Science. She began her professional career as an Auditor and Accounting Information Manager, and went on to become the founder of Zell Business Systems Consulting.

Beth Schiebler – Vice President, Federal Partner Solutions

Beth Schiebler joined Navstar as a member of its executive team in late 2010 in the role of Vice President of Corporate Accounts. Since then she has been promoted to VP Federal Partner Solutions, with overall responsibility for teaming strategy, execution upon award and successful delivery for all of Navstar’s subcontract business with our teaming partners such as Leidos, CSRA, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Praxis, General Dynamics and many other large government contractors.

With more than 20 years of IT consulting services experience, Beth is continuously improving delivery and quality of life for Navstar customers and employees via a tireless effort and focus on quality and performance.

Beth’s experience includes working in both the public and private sectors in the areas of operations management, business development, service delivery, product development and recruiting.  She has played an integral role building experienced staffing delivery teams, developing repeatable solutions and launching software products.

Prior to joining Navstar, Beth owned and operated an IT consulting company focused on data warehousing and business intelligence. In 2009, an International consulting organization acquired her business and we welcomed her to Navstar.

Mark Longworth – Vice President, Mission Systems

Inventor, software developer, security expert, systems engineer, and intelligence officer: Mark Longworth has demonstrated his versatility and ingenuity in his 30 years of professional experience in and around the Intelligence Community.  In each of his careers, Mark demonstrated a proven ability to apply systems engineering techniques to quickly dissect and solve vexing problems facing his customers and his organizations.  Be it organization, software, technology, or personnel, Mark has consistently succeeded at solving problems with inventive approaches.

In January 2001, Mark formed Forensics Explorers as a vehicle to market and advance his patented invention: the NetWitness software.  Mark served as Forensics Explorers’ General Manager until its sale to ManTech International.  In May of 2005, Mark joined Tenacity Solutions as their Chief Scientist.  Mark provided information security and enterprise architecture consultations to the CIO and operational elements of the Intelligence Community. Mark led mobile device security testing software firm Shevirah Inc. as CEO from 2015-2016.  In October 2017, Mark joined Navstar as Vice President of Mission Solutions.

Mark holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Science in Information Security from Norwich University.

Brad Sussman – Recruiting Manager

With over a decade of recruiting experience, Brad has proven himself to be an integral part of our Navstar team. Brad joined Navstar in the fall of 2016 as our Recruiting Manager, and has helped to lead our organization in attaining Allstars for the Navstar team.

Brad brings a very diverse range of capabilities and experience to Navstar. He has had extensive success working with a variety of small, mid-sized, and large firms in both government and private sectors. As a graduate from Marymount University with a Master’s Degree in HR Management, Brad brings an unparalleled perspective to recruiting. Combining his HR background with years of recruiting experience, Brad has personally designed and implemented recruiting strategies for multi-million dollar corporations. Through Brad’s exceptional leadership and unmatched recruiting style, he has aided Navstar in assembling a recruiting team rehearsed in obtaining the best talent in the industry.
